Carlyle, Haven't looked closely at WDC or the dd sector, however, the Asian situation imho will be supportive of good drive demand, good unit sales for boxes through the new year. Its probably not so good for new factory floor semi equipment sales in Asia from here. The AMAT's etc. may be looking at shakey order books... Yet keeping the current factory floors operational and at full production is mandatory for recovery, so they'll be offering great prices on components and assembly. SEG was hit before the selloff began, then hit some more during the selloff, and is struggling to recover. I'd make a little ratio of (WDC + QNTM)/(SEG) as a dd indicator to watch.

That't interesting options acitivity by the houses... how do you come by this information?
