"Oro did the same, just earlier is all and we've forgotten, they got the stock up a little and then did a really big financing"

marcos - well, not exactly the same. EVG did a PP below the market AFTER the price was driven down, not up. Everybody knows exploration is a very expensive business, everybody knows that juniors need to raise money by issuing stock to survive. It's a matter of how it is done, imo. Amarillo managed to do one last October when the world was going off the cliff...with no warrant. It can be done, but managements more often succumb to the seductive sirens than do it right.

marcos - a couple more observations on Oro. First, the stock has gotten within a nickel of a 61.8% retrace of the run from 0.13 to 1.05. That is a deep retrace but typical for the juniors, imo. Second, that placement was done at 0.70, so retail investors now have the opportunity to buy the same company at a substantial discount to where the big boys got in. Not sure that the other stock we were discussing, whose name escapes me now, will offer the same opportunity.
