ElM you can be sure that Canadian companies are not selling patent-busting drugs in the USA. There are enthusiastic lawyers and others in the USA who will attack such crooks. By "ripped off" he obviously means copied out-of-patent products. Bandits in Brazil, China and other barbarian countries don't have to worry about USA patents very much if they don't have other associations with the USA and they are small enough to not attract a lot of attention.
