That is one way to hold down the tripling of premiums that the bill would require. Use state control to prevent the excessive costs of state control from being implemented.

That is an argument that few if any logical people could support.

The insurance company profits are a negligible component of health care cost. How can one conclude that ANY premium increase is unjustified without taking the scant profits into account?
