A lot of it is quick typing or cutting/pasting of very large queries generated by SQL itself, then moving on to other things while the machine does hours of hard work.

Kinda wish we had more memory. If I remember correctly, this db server has 8GB of memory. And after it's been running more than a few minutes, there're usually less than 100MB of real memory left. Hope to get that one resolved.

There are also some very large tables I can move into an archive db and get them out of the way, which should do wonders.
