Paul, We rode ZITL to the 70's and were trying to sell more everyday that it was going up, but could not borrow the shares to sell short! Our avg. is about $38 with 7000 shares, so it was a big diappointment not to be able to sell more as it was going up! We would have been short another 4 to 6 thousand shares at this point if we were able to find the shares to go short! The ride up was not very enjoyable, and it was really unenjoyable since we could not sell anymore as it was going up! Never seen a stock like ZITL go up so fast and down so fast? Take a look at PRST a couple of years ago! We sold PRST at $140 pre-split and rode it to $200 pre-split (2 for 1), and sold more as it was going up! My brother Mike and I are pretty tough and alot crazy when we start shorting! CTXS is a stock that could eventually go to $100, but since we do not know the top we will continue to sell all the way up if we need too! We have done some reserch ourselves on CTXS, but got most of our information from Roger Babb, for whom we respect a great deal! See Roger Babb Short Picks Thread at:Subject 11259 As far as the market goes day to day, I'll be the first to admit that I can not call the move in the market and individual stocks on a day to day basis! Even though I like to try! For I have a saying that "The market will do what ever it takes to make one look like a fool"! And it usually has a good track record in making us look like fools! If I could tell you what the next market move would be as far as a crash, I would load my boat up with the right positions and unload my boat the day it arrived! Then I doubt that you would see many post from me for awhile! My current shorts include: AOL, CTXS, DELL, DDIM, EGRP, SMTC, VIAS, and ZITL! Also have naked calls sold on all these and a few other stocks! As far as learning goes I learn something everyday and if I don't I feel Like I've wasted the day at times! Remember this the day you stop learning will be the day someone will be digging a 6 ft. hole for you! Good luck to you and if I can be of any help to you feel free to call or E-Mail me at anytime!
