Every recession is "different."

LOL, it was different all right, like the great depression was "different". The longest since for instance. That's different. The world economy frozen. That's different. The auto companies failing. That's different. The banks failing. That's different. The world's largest insurance company failing. That's different.

If you're fine with a budget that is quickly growing from $3T to $4T, ask yourself if you can afford a 33% increase in your own taxes.

First, I'm not fine with a depression. I will take a 33% increase in taxes rather than a 100% decrease in income any day.

Listen if you REALLY don't think we were on the verge of financial Armageddon, I'll start feeding you quotes from smart guys every day. Or are you just taking that tact 'cause it's the only reason you can whine?
