Doug,
with that point of view in mind, would you cash before monday? (oops, only a few minutes left)
BTW, ACRT is moving nicely. Maybe an opportunity to sell half to get some cash back in the portfolio (40% assest are in ACRT).
Also, if you have the time, could you send me target prices for the recent POWs

Thanks

P

Doug--

Though the market as a whole has not broken completely, some sectors have. My instinct, not informed by a great deal of experience, is to short the industries clearly broken down, selecting individual stocks that have the best(worst) individual technical profiles. Meanwhile staying long in the POW's that clearly have shown the ability to weather the downdrafts and bounce back. If the market rallies weakly I'll take profits on the longs and short more. If the market sinks I'll take profits on the shorts and pick up depressed POW's. I have to rely on you and more experienced TA to determine where the market is going.

Doug,

FAXX...too late? No news. Up 35% on huge volume. RSI way up. Shot thru all of its ma's, may not be sustainable though.

Doug--<Arch Crawford on CNBC> Arch is a toot with his astrology predictions. However, sometimes he is very right. Myron

PLTO

Doug:

Mr. Crawford must be an astrological contrarian if he's calling for a 500-point downdraft and still has PLTO rising.<gg>
My personal feeling is we're basically following Hong Kong until Sinophobia takes possession of the inherently racist sensitivities on Wall St. Wonder if there's MACD or an indicator for chauvinism.<gg>

In summary: Two tasteless ways of saying that I feel these are dangerous times to be in the market. Do any of the 56 indicators/subsets include volatility?

Ivan

ACRT

Doug:

I'm a dense doggie. Didn't ACRT break its uptrend (sharply) more than a week before the correction?
