Some very minor quasi-tightening noise to send a clear signal
the liquidity largesse is about over, or prop the dollar,
or both. They cut QE program by 25 bln. I'm not sure that
will be enough to prop the dollar. They actually need to raise
rates and keep printing for that, I am not sure QE has any
bearing on carry trade whatsoever, it's not in "the model". <G>
RBA bumped 25 this week.

"The Fed says it will trim its purchases of debt from Fannie Mae
and Freddie Mac to $175 billion, from $200 billion, because
there is limited availability of that debt."
