Nov. 2 - EWR.VSE - Thomas Township JV; new directorÿ East West Resource Corp Thomas Township JV; new director East West Resource Corp EWR 1997-10-31 close $0.7 Monday Nov 3 1997 Mr Anthony Crossley reports The company has granted an option to Pacific Vangold Mines Ltd on the 140 claim unit, Thomas Township property whereby Vangold may earn 50% working interest by spending $1,500,000 over five years, with a commitment to spend $150,000 within six months, issue 50,000 shares to the company, and pay $55,000 in staged cash payments over four years. The property covers the westward extension of a fault structure that extends through the area of a gold and base metals discovery to the east called the Cross Lake zone. A program of line cutting, magnetics and IP surveys is planned for this winter. The company has appointed Mr John Mockridge as a director, effective October 27 1997. The board of directors now consists of Messrs Anthony Crossley, James Tutton, Blake Colvin and John Mockridge.
