You should be....no new gov't money went into Chrysler during the latest quarter. Instead, they have been doing cost cutting with Fiat, a relationship encouraged by Obama:

Giving them money in one quarter helps their profitability in the next as they don't have to borrow, or borrow as much, or perhaps pay as high of rate.

Also there was the "cash for clunkers" boondogle, which subsidized purchases.

Beyond that its just one quarter and its only break even, not a profit.

A majority of Democrats and a majority of Republicans are not fiscally conservative, at least if your talking about the politicians from each party. Some in each party are. Obama is not (and before you ask Bush wasn't either). Large bailouts to car companies are not.
