Of late they had a strange habit of doing so. Never before.
Not when they caused the huge rally in April-July 2007 by
printing 8 billion in late April. That was like pouring
gasoline into credit bubble fire. No, it was not announced
except at the time of actual printing. M3 also
vanished in March 2006 cause the Fed saw no need for it. -g-
