My mother was born in China so I already am. <you are suggesting Mq to become a Chinese ??? > It depends on the racial definitions which are used for such things. Sometimes [for some countries] a single grandparent being from a country confers nationality. Hyphenated Americans and Canadians claim to be "Irish-American" and what have you if they have some distant ancestor from Ireland, Greece, Italy, Africa etc.
