My girlfriend works for a small non profit here in San Francisco (5 employees). They just got the updated details for their health plan for 2010.

Premiums went up slightly but, for the same plan, check out the changes:

Deductible (Ind./Family) -
2009 $1,500/$3,000
2010 $2,000/$4,000

Out of pocket max. -
$1,500/$3,000
$3,500/$7,000

MRI,PET,CT -
$0
$50

Emergency -
$0
$100

Ambulance -
$0
$100

Outpatient Surgery -
$0
$100

Hospital Care -
$0
$300/day

Prescription Co-pay -
Generic -
$0
$10
Brand name -
$0
$30

UFB. It looks like they are getting a whole lot less coverage for MORE money. They don't have the time, staff or expertise to research options. What a screw job.
