Interesting tidbit from last nights readings...

Now, I know it's not fair to paint a wide cultural brush, but given the group think nature of Japan's development in the 60's-80's,

1. You think it's kind of true?

2. What does it mean going forward?

Note that Butler nails the BOE and Eurozone announcements right on the button in today's Pfennig (and the Fed yesterday). Good to know there's at least one economist getting it right.
