Interesting tidbit from last nights readings... "...there is a saying in China that Japan is a socialist country which had capitalism forced upon it, while China is a capitalist country which had socialism imposed." Now, I know it's not fair to paint a wide cultural brush, but given the group think nature of Japan's development in the 60's-80's, 1. You think it's kind of true? 2. What does it mean going forward? Note that Butler nails the BOE and Eurozone announcements right on the button in today's Pfennig (and the Fed yesterday).
