What planet are these people who say Obama is mostly conservative? What do they think he is conserving? I think they fall into two categories: the clueless and the communists.

What planet are these people on who say Obama is mostly conservative? Medved made an interesting comment a day or two ago. He said the majority in the middle are there because they don't understand what's going on. As you move toward the extreme left or right you encounter more with reasons behind their convictions. That's true, though the left is solely motivated by quasi-religious passions. PfP is populated by people with an understanding of economics and history; a distinct minority. Ask any random selection about Socialism's problems with rational economic calculations. Betcha you'll get blank stares from betwixt 70 and 90%.
