The suspected gunman was identified as Major Malik Nadal Hasan. He was killed and two other suspects have been apprehended, Lt. Robert W. Cone said.

One newsman discussed a combat stress center on the base. However - 3 Shooters doesn't sound random - sounds planned.

Received an e-mail alert from the New York Times, claiming some dead and a lock down of the schools at Fort Hood. Very sketchy.
