Candle stick, if you truly believe the SEC is going to reward illegal short sellers by protecting them from the consequences of their actions, then please invest in some other stock you feel more comfortable with.

But Candle stick, the illegal shares have already been traded to buyers everywhere. If sanctions are held, do you not believe that the criminals who sold non-existant stock will be forced to buy it back at either the market value or the value at which it was sold? There are laws against fraud that would cover this. If you sell something that doesn't exist, you must return the money. Basic justice.

They can't just close their doors and claim bankrupcy; they have millions in assets and cash in a publicaly traded company. Right? I believe that there is also insurance that covers great losses by Market Makers. Riley or somebody was talking about it long ago...
