so Ted the shooter is still alive. So in 20 years when he helps a future republican President write his book and has that republican announce his presidential run from his house will you be ok with that ?

The generally more conservative states that people are moving to generally don't have the same degree of problems with runaway spending and public employee's unions. There not immune to the problems, but they aren't as bad.

NC voted for Obama after an unpopular president's term was up, after the financial problems started to unfold, and after Obama portrayed himself as far more moderate than he really is. That hardly means NC isn't a fairly conservative state.
