Lew: Welcome back. Hope this one doesn't disappear. Have you ever considered a career in investigative journalism?

Lew, you got half the characters for an excellent TV series, I can see the weekly ups and down, the tension building awaiting announcements, the short raids and back alley conspiracies, midnight meetings in smoky bar with the go-go girl acting as a go between passing e-mail addresses. Why, why not add a little car chase, an investigator (L.G) trying to unearth the truth about overseas account with no reporting duties, major funds maipulating the stock for their own benefit (whom else?), the struggle between shorty and Global.

Then of course, we must add the management team's colorfull personalities, the AGM breath taking leaks about trading halts, the Phoenix deal and so on.

Now you can turn some of the scenes to a science fiction involving modern day alchemists, may be add a little competition between the transmutationalist and the true to heart extractionalists. And if we are at it, how about few scenes involving colorful fire assays, take Charters' assays and match them against the best IPMCF can bring to the party.

Now come some visits to the Friendship lab, maybe a backdoor deal to buy them out which is thrown out of the window by the righteous ones. May be an attempt by the shorty gang (should we go all the way and connect tham to the mafia?) to take Friendship out. Some top management fighting and pushing and shoving at BD could add some realism to the picture. This will then explain the bringing into the party of Bateman and Lyco before that.

How about a rogue insider in IPMCF leaking info (deep throat like) to shorty, using some unmarked swiss accounts (no, make it Cayman Islands, and add a steamy scene with some chicks on the beach) to profit from the short raiders themselves.

Gee, I am really getting hot here. I'd better stop while I am ahead, or I'll find myself in one of the scene purposefully making wild assumptions about astronomic extraction costs and few other sins I have committed on this thread.

Lew, I really think you have got the main ingredients not just for a movie, but for a series. Go for it. Just, PLEEEEZE keep me out of it.

Lew, wouldn't want to be your enemy. Great post, as usual.
