"I'll say what I've said before about this President. The media says he is an highly intelligent person. But until they demand his undergrad and graduate records be released and reviewed, I have to go by what I see, I don't see someone very smart. My bet is "W's" IQ blow Obama away. I saw the beginning of that news conference yesterday and couldn't believe it."

Intelligence without wisdom is absolutely meaningless. There are key times when we get a window into the true mind of Obama. For instance - the guns and religion comment and the bankrupting of either coal companies or coal users. These insights come from the few unguarded moments when the real Obama is seen.

My quandary is that he is either destructive or stupid. Stupid in that he believes the leftist crap he has been raised in or destructive in that he wants his change no matter what the cost.

Which is it? My basic belief is that he is simply stupid in that he has no - no - as in far less than Sarah Palin - experience in the real world of for profit enterprise. Without this experience he like most leftist loons think wealth is simply something to be harvested. In simple words - the comment I have heard is you cannot love jobs and hate employers - duh!

Bob

I suspect his IQ is slightly above body temperature. Probably more like a hot summer day in Sacramento.

I too have never been impressed with Obama (last year was like staying sober in a room full of people getting s---faced drunk). My question has always been, how did Obama manage to fool so many really smart people into thinking that he was brilliant, had a first-class temperament to be President, was a sober centrist, etc and so forth? When I & countless others (but not enough, alas!) looked at him and said, how can you buy this shtick? This is a flim-flam artist, not a real leader!

I can only assume that he has a lot of intellectual wattage, but it is all focused quite narrowly toward what I would call the "snow-job" goal. He can charm, he can persuade, he can be whatever you need to him to be. It's all show, not substance; talk, not action. For governing he has to fall back on his left-wing ideology, which he doesn't even seem to have thought through in the way his mentor (I use the term advisedly) Bill Ayers ever did.

Maybe that's why Obama suddenly seems so tin-eared. The rules are different you are President. You can't just go out there and let the crowd tell you who you are supposed to be today. You have to know.
