I've concluded after listening to the Art Cashin - pisani interview from a couple of weeks ago....they are just plain stupid. Baby boomer peak earnings and spending year hit in 2007.....the market top....and going into it....they created a housing bubble and massive debt bubble of historic proportion. Further....they took a surplus and destroyed it while heading into peak oil. How can any intelligent person believe that they are anything but just plain stupid? Bring in Volker....kick azz....clean house....enough of this ponzi finance....save what's left of the dollar.
