He carried out a plan (followed orders) orchestrated by others that was abetted by a willing MSN and years of demonizing Bush and ignoring BHO's background. That is not an example of HIS intelligence. It also points to McCains lack of being able to run a political campaign for office (I actually believe that part of McCain didn't really want to be president, IMO)

He didn't come up with the plan he was just the voice, he won the early caucuses though thuggery. Hillary won most of the later popular vote primaries but it wasn't enough. There's no secret vote in caucuses and people were intimidated, like using those black Panthers with clubs
