The Duchess gave me a bunch of pills for nervous tension.

Scanning the bottle briefly, I saw it was based on Strychnos nux vomica.....a quick check of my Funk & Wagnalls confirms my suspicions that this is also the herb that produces Strychnine.

We'll see what it does to the cat.
