Thomas and Mark, Thanks for all of the feedback On Zin, and not having had the "right" one yet. Humm, I'm getting educated quickly here - so glad I decided to come out of "lurk" mode! Honestly, I gave up on zins years ago and almost never buy them, and on the rare occasions when I have, they have always been from California and just strike me as too jammy and syrupy or something?? A bit too sweet and off-putting for a serious meal which calls for a red?? So Mark, thanks for the heads-up/warning on the Cali versions. Great advice, thanks guys, and I'll venture into the realm of Zin again, as soon as time affords me an opportunity to do so! :-) I'm printing off these postings and will be packing them to the liquor store with me.
