Great essay from an interesting reviewer. I agree with you that I would not want to read it. Yet, over 50% give it 5 stars and that most of the 211 reviews were favorable.

Reading that review made me realize that I've almost forgotten that Amazon sells books. I do a great deal of shopping from Amazon from food and personal items to electronics. I am stunned at the scope of this online store. What is also a big attraction is the free shipping on many items if you don't mind taking a chance on waiting longer for it to arrive.

I don't want to throw out ALL my suspension of disbelief.

Once you get by that, what the people do and how they do it is absolutely fascinating.
