CNN was showing a poll last night that suggested that only a quarter of those surveyed wanted any of the bills currently before Congress passed as-is. We have a Chicago-styled triple threat in DC right now -- Pelosi looks weak, but then is able to scare the soup out of even weaker Democrat House members. Reid is the same way. We could end up with a "monstrosity" (thanks, Lane, for the use of the term) actually becoming law while everyone but the hard left opposes it.
