Y2K is a good comparison, except that the climate change scam is a greater threat to the economy.

Son, Y2K was no farce - it was a mathematical certainly......

There were thousands of us engineers who traveled all over the USA for two years and replaced millions of dollars worth of software, Boards and Equipment that would have come to a screaming halt as of 0/0/2000. All the ATMs worked, and the SS Checks went out, and major process and manufacturing plants kept running on 1/1/2000 because the pending 'shut downs' were averted..!!! I worked for Fluor-Daniel, Alcoa, Solutia, and Union Carbide. Those people are not stupid, and their engineers were 'up all night' with us every damn day.

The "Real BS" was that that doddering phucque Alum Greenspurt didn't believe we could do it..!!! So, the stupid, senile SOB pumped the banks full of FED 'cash' they didn't need. And, just like ol' POS Clintwit's Fannie-Freddie arsehole-buddies, they loaned it out as fast as they could. Then, when Greenspurt demanded the money back, and the banks complied, the companies who expanded couldn't borrow money to hire/pay new employees to support their expansions.

Gateway here in Iowa went down the crapper, because they doubled their plant and stores - then could not get further loans to support the expansion.

Live and learn, aye........................
