Would someone be kind enough to elaborate on why the Mutual Funds close their books by the end of October. Why not November or better yet December? Thanks JT

No way, Jose'

I'm holding and calling! (:>)

Depressing close. Maybe I should reconsider? I know, I know, just mutual funds dumping before the deadline. Still depressing with market up nicely and LGND down after the recent big hit.

Ted, I think that the block you saw was a 51.5K block that showed up as the size of the 15 1/8 ask price (and shortly before it showed up the ask had been 15 5/8). I think that it hung around and the price dropped and at the very last minnute, it went off when the bid fell to 14 5/8. I agree that the price is now poised to move sharply higher at the open on Monday.
