The Obama administration’s job-creation efforts have fallen short, so that unemployment is likely to stay disastrously high through next year and beyond.

Right. Because you can't reduce unemployment through wild government spending. Of course, Krugman, a liberal ideologue, can't understand this, but it is a fact.

So, we have failed liberal policy (and Krugman would be elated if we just doubled-down on that bad policy) and he's worried about it costing votes.

Big surprise. Obama said his $800B would stop unemployment at 8%. Didn't work. Now, Krugman breaks the news that it is going higher than the current 10+%. And he's scared shitless his socialist agenda is going to slip away as a result. That the beloved Obama is going to slide into the Carter Abyss.

Next time, you guys should employ some fiscal sanity for a change.
