I don't buy the template that the mainstream media is working off of, that Hasan was a victim of PTSD. He was never sent into combat. The fact that his job included treating soldiers with PTSD is nowhere close.

Remember, Ted has been diagnosed from PTSD due to having been worked over by a tough LA meatgrinder of a woman.

PTSD doesn't require combat. A mean woman can destroy you.

Ted, in my mind the most likely story is that Hasan acted alone, but used the Al Qaeda ideology as an excuse to literally go down in fire.

Nor do I accept the excuse that Hasan was "teased" as a Muslim. Lots of Muslims in America get suspicious stares, teasing, etc. How many of them dealt with it using two semiautomatics?

First, in my mind, nothing justifies what Hasan did. Absolutely nothing. Secondly, my personal belief right now is that he wanted out of the military, was pissed about his demotion and did not want to go to Afghanistan. Because he couldn't admit to himself that he was a weasel and a coward, he intertwined all his crap with Islam and the war on terrorism.......and somehow that justified going on a killing spree. Did I mention he was crazy?

Bottom line is that this guy is the Muslim version of Cho Seung-Hui. That's my opinion for now, but I reserve the right to change it at will.

Who is Cho Seung-Hui?

Dave might claim that ALL Korean-Americans are potential Cho Seung-Hui's.
