They give a discount on the netbook and you buy the connection service for 2 years (I think). but that starts at about 40 bucks, and gets you hooked in wherever a cell phone gets service (again, I think. that's like techy talk to me). I think it sounds like a great deal. no need for broadband at home, so that is a savings. can walk in the woods with it and sit and read if you want. I've had 2 dells laptop that were dead within a year. no more. I'm clunking along on a rather ancient box computer until I can do the Verizon deal.
