But that's not saying much, given that Al Qaeda is more of an ideological movement and has no central command and very little coordination. Exactly. GWB decimated the command and strategic functionality of AQ -- and these were substantial characteristics prior to 9/11. But it didn't kill the movement, which dates to the 1950s and is widespread. These guys have a standing agreement to take out as many Americans as they can in any way they can. If they fail, no matter -- they still get the virgins for trying. All Islamic Terrorists understand the objective.
