"Tim Russert he ain't."

And Tim Russert she ain't....might as well kiss the show goodbye. Have you seen her ratings?

>> David Gregory has been losing market on Meet the Press, and there were rumors she was up for that job. Tim Russert he ain't.

Gregory's attempt to move to the center when the job came available was obvious. He's an extremist liberal, and as soon as Russert died he started trying to hide it. He's ended up being a liberal (liberal==>devoid of intellect) who is trying hard to disguise it, and can't do it.

Were Rachel Maddow to get that job the show would not last six months. She is more extreme even than Obama, and has no shot at a hard news career, other than at MSNBC where they cater to the extremist crowd. Her AAR show was downright pathetic and had no significant listenership. Essentially, she and Franken were just alike -- useful idiots.

They should put her on the Meet the Press.
