You don't get this, but there are almost no "logical" liberals. That's why on this thread the conservatives run over you guys on a daily basis. Your arguments are louder and more obtuse, but never as logical. You are so incredibly backwards that its astounding you have the gall to come on a public forum and make the statements you make. The conservatives on this thread don't even come close to running over the liberals. That's why y'll are forced to resort to lying and editorializing the articles you post. And strangely enough, you still haven't figured why the Rs have lost two major elections in a row. The few "logical" liberals, e.g., Chris Hitchens, have essentially moved toward the center precisely that's because where the logic takes them. So, you have Tom Friedman, for example, supporting the Iraq War because it was totally logical. Politically, of course, it left him exposed and like all liberals, the politics eventually carried the day. Hitchens, OTOH, is a truly intelligent liberal who actually understands where uncontrolled liberalism takes one. The center is so far left of you......you would need a compass to find your way back to it. A liberal who believes that you can negotiate a deal with Iran or DPRK to stop their nuclear weapons programs is not thinking logically. We know that cannot be done and that only hard power will resolve these issues. An R who thinks they function on the world stage is one whose been liquored up or slipped a drug. Bolton was the laughingstock of the UN and the world. Ditto with GW Bush. This is typical of the facts that come out of conservative states.......the states with the most uninsured residents have congresspeople with the worst voting record on health care reform. You're not even close to playing the same stage as the rest of us. That is the pathetic truth.
