Plus I don't see anyone making excuses for McVeigh, wondering if he was bullied or disillusioned or desparate.

We do hear those excuses offered up for Hasan. We heard excuses offered for Ayers and Dohrn, too - as in maybe they helped end the war.

I guess they have enough in common with Hasan that prompts them to make excuses for him....
