Tenuous, but hopeful signs. (But just look at how large the Kurd-occupied territory is... no way they have given up their long-held dreams of a Greater Kurdistan. Likely many of these moves are tactical, the better to position themselves for a greater portion of the oil wealth to come from the Kirkuk area):
