Interesting..... "In terms of trends, Arkansas was Obama's worst state, by Superman-esque leaps and bounds. The president underperformed John Kerry by six points statewide, and underperformed in every congressional district. The drops seen in Marion Berry's district, and Mike Ross' district, were the largest anywhere in the country, and from a position of relative strength. Generally speaking, we expect to win districts where Kerry got 47-48%. Those are definitionally swing districts, no more divided under normal circumstances than the nation itself. Last year, however, Obama finished under 40% in both of them." Hmmmmmmm....how do you explain this one? Obama was so much more popular than Kerry.....finished much higher nationwide, and yet, did significantly poorer in Arkansas. I am sure there is a rational explanation.....I just haven't found it yet.
