I was bothered by unseemly cheering from the crowd when Obama came out.

I didn't like that either. With the number of people there it was a definite minority that cheered. I suspect it is something they will hear about later.

At least he didn't leap into campaign mode and throw his hands over his head fist pumping or some such nonsense.

Can't really tell where it came from but it sounded to me like it came from way in the back and not that many - just loud by those few.
