"There are all sorts of things beyond the material universe"

That is not involved in my argument. We know next to nothing about anything. But we know not to jump without a parachute and we know that the bible is one of thousands of superstitious dogmas without any value to rational people working for the betterment of humankind.

Yammering about "demons" and talking donkeys and cursing fig trees and wallowing in tribal genocides and rapes and tall tales offers nothing to fill in our gaps of knowing. We can fly planes, we can fly to the moon. BUT we don't do it with demons! And we have never walked on water--but we have mastered it with science.

You are no different than some ignorant Apache or Navaho or any race culture or country with thoughtless adherence to nonsensical dogma contradicted by every other dogma flooding the planet somewhere between the urine and the scat.
