So you say.

You remind me of the anecdote of the fox and the hedgehog.

The fox knows many things.

The hedgehog knows one big thing.

You, my dear, are the hedgehog.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

But I am old enough to have seen gold come and go, come and go.

A stopped clock isn't right often enough to depend on.

Edit: is the price of gold going to go up? I assume so, but still don't care.

Will it go up forever? History suggests otherwise. But I still don't care.

There is never going to come a time when I wish I'd bought gold. I say this because every other time gold prices spiked, I did not wish it then, and there's no reason for that to have changed.

There are a lot of things I don't care about. Watching you act all adolescent about gold actually tilts me against it, rather than otherwise. It's like my kids and video games.
