MicroProse Party... Well, Gamecenter got an inside look at MicroProse'supcoming titles for '98 and '99. The most impressive were the first-person shooters Klingon Honor Guard and Starship Trooper. Simply put, you'll be floored by the smooth polygonal characters and animation. Alas, MicroProse's Star Trek strategy game, Birth of the Federation, did not overwhelm the Gamecenter gang...As for MicroProse's upcoming Mech games, there's change in the air.
FASA's MechWarrior 3 has been pushed to '99 and renamed MechWarrior 4.
The Mech 3 project has been turned over to a small developer called Zipper with its own 3D combat engine...Finally, MechCommander will propose a significant challenge to the real-time establishment with its MechWarrior motif and impressive animation.
