I wouldn't doubt it. The GOP has become dominated by extremist rightwingers and hatred has become their mantra. People forget that there is more than one road to the same destination and that in most ways Obama is far superior to Bush, although he is very much a Democrat, which means you get some things you don't want along with a lot you do want, like for me a focus on renewable energy, US nation building, and a smarter foreign policy.
