the list of Cabot stocks that he's sold and have come back is longer than my arm if typed in 12dpi and placed atop each other. Cabot's criteria for selling is no better than his criteria for buying.

Cabot sold, for instance, Stratacom in 1995 due to "weakening momentum". three days later Stratacom was purchased by Cisco for about $53 a share (Stratcom was trading around $35 at the time).

The list goes on and on. who knows really. Cymer should, could counteract this "sell" with a positive news story on Monday. The story could take any form, as long as it was upbeat.

Cabot does a better job of buying a stock than selling a stock on a loss basis. Most of the stocks he's sold on a loss basis have rebounded tremendously within a short time. Some haven't.
