How about this - try and figure it out. The "specialist" firm is L,O,M and they make markets in about 50 NYSE listed stocks and for the teaser I will tell you one of the stocks is The Limited. I will not turn this into a pissing match either but what you said earlier about limit orders was wrong and that is all I pointed out. Remember if a specialist "takes a stock down to take out a limit order as you claim the transaction exposes himself to potential risk" Just the facts thats all.
