I would worry about the grown up kids. The grandkids, not so much. I think this current right wing phase the nation is in will have disappeared by then and we will have affordable national health that ranks higher than 36th best system in the world.

% of american obesity problem...

britain: 66%
germany: 60%
switzerland (sweden and netherlands = 30%): ?
japan: 8%
taiwan: ?

americans eat themselves to death. excess fat is due to elevated insulin, which also activates an enzyme that drives cellular level inflammation (the smoking gun that links both obesity and chronic disease).

americans are much sicker than other countries and we will have to pay more to deal with our self inflicted disease.

since america is broke, what are we willing to give up for health care? 75% of the military budget would be a good start.
