It's amazing how effective terrorism is. Not in the ways one would expect. Now the muslims are the victims and we can't do anything to offend them.

It's some kind of bizarro world that we live in now.

It was shortly after 9-11.

I was in DC in October, 2002, for my former boss's retirement party. I recall coming around a corner on the GW Parkway near the Pentagon and there was a Hummer parked on an embankment, with its .50 cal. machine gun pointed directly at traffic.
