I believe it's called "public health." I have posted before that public health and individual health are not compatible. But public health is a well established concept and, when minimally invasive, a reasonable tool.

I understand your point but, when there's a shortage, what would you have them do? Seems to me that allocating the vaccine to those most likely to die from the flu (or to spread the flu or care for those with the flu) is the best of a bunch of bad alternatives.
