On a different note.....check this out....... mediamatters.org Its amazing how the real news is now reported by the Comedy Channel and the network and cable outlets have become total comedy. Sure seemed to work for the Taliban, now didn't it?? And they continue to use military force, suicide bombings, and assassinations in order to regain power in Afghanistan. How do you explain that? And if you oppose them and fall into their hands as a prisoner, they'll chop your head off and make videos to show their supporters. THEY KNOW VIOLENCE IS THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN ACHIEVE POWER. And btw, is also worked for Saddam for over 30 years... It also worked for any number of dictatorial and totalitarian regimes from Stalin to Mao to Ghengis Khan.. The only difference is that they used military force to establish totalitarian "order" for the purpose of dominating, subjugating, and pillaging the country for their OWN benefit, not the people at large. We use military force against military force because that all these religious militants understand. They can never make peace, only short term truces in order to recover their strength in order to, once again, wage militant Jihad. But our goal is to create a stable society that has a government that is elected by, and accountable TO, it's citizens. I know that you believe democracy is something only you should benefit from because you're such an elitist. If you had your way, the unwashed masses certainly wouldn't have a say in how they are governed. So Don, I do appreciate you demonstrating "how stupid can one be".. I'm sure we'll be seeing you heading to Afghanistan soon to put "daisies" in those Talibani AK-47 rifle barrels. You're an inspiration to morons everywhere.. This type of approach has done "wonders" for the Israelis and it has made us the most "admired economic powerhouse" of the world in just 8 years. And btw, military strength has served Israel VERY WELL. After all, despite numerous attempts by extremely hostile neighboring Arabs states, they still exist as a nation and a state. They have consistently met military might with greater military might and defeated every attempt by those Arabs to wipe Israel off the map. Oh.. and btw.. Arabs living in Israel have far more rights than do Jews living in Arab states. Hawk
