Hi Roger,

I have been reading your comments of the past few days about QNTM divesting itself of DLT.
I think the boot is clearly on the other foot. With each quarter that goes by, the DD biz is contributing percentually less and less to the bottom line. It takes no great stretch of the imagination to forsee Michael Brown divesting himself of the DD biz to one or other of QNTM's competitors. By such time, even if QNTM is the No.1 in the DD world, business is about MAKING money (or not loosing it as Al Shugart is discovering).
I see this scenario as a very strong possibility. Remember QNTM has not the mill stone of manufacturing around its neck, and may want the cash to buy out Terastore.
What makes all of the DD threads so interesting is that there is so much raw passion and blind sentiment towards the DD industry. It's not a sacred cow you know......

Regards
Alan
